PaperMantis records Polymarket UP/DOWN markets and Binance spot prices. What you can test depends on the asset, duration, UTC dates and the workflow you choose.

01 / Source

Market quotes

Recorded Polymarket UP/DOWN books support historical research. A quote is evidence of an offer, not a guaranteed fill.

02 / Context

Spot price

Binance spot prices help compare underlying movement with contract prices. They are a different series.

03 / Outcome

Resolution

A contract settles by its written rule and named source; a live chart is not the official outcome.

One history, different uses

Recorded data, Builder eligibility, Discover search and Portfolio tracking have different checks. The in-app Data Coverage view shows the latest published dataset cutoff, series ranges and daily market counts; its dates can lag new collection.

Historical

Builder & Discover

Choose a UTC period and inspect the latest published coverage. Sparse windows can be unsuitable for automated search even when some observations exist.

Later markets

Portfolio

Only compatible rules can be followed virtually on new markets. The app shows eligibility when you add a strategy.

Check the published coverage

Sign in, open Data coverage in the app, and check the dataset cutoff, date ranges and day-level counts before running a test.
